This is the perfect gift for a Samoyed owner. There aren't many Samoyed plushes out there and this particular one is of a high quality. I live in Australia and had to get this shipped within a fortnight just in time for Valentines Day. Luckily, it came early and with no damage. I highly recommend it for any Samoyed lover.

My 7 year old loves realistic looking dogs, and specifically wanted this samoyed. It did not disappoint. She loves it. The fur is soft, the animal is not too firm, yet not too floppy. She has toted it around all over the place.

Please give feed back to whom ever that a Sammoyed is NOT a husky, there fore these dolls are NOT Samoyed Huskys. There are a number of Huskey breeds out there, most notably the Siberian and American Husky as official breeds, and a Sammy is neither. My wife and I are owned buy two Sammies, one 12 years old, and the second 3 years old. Either dog would be offended if you told them they were huskys. They are SAMOYEDS and proud of it, thank you. You may use the familiar, "Sammy" or "Sammies", if you are owned by at least one.

This was a very cute puppy. I can't rate its durability because we gave it away to someone else, but it seemed very well made.
Samoyed owners might want to stop reading now: I actually bought this in order to shave the fur to make it look like a Jindo dog for a display about Korea. (Sorry! Couldn't find a Jindo stuffed animal anywhere.) But the fur was so thick that meant I spent a fair amount of time handling the toy as I slowly trimmed the coat down. I was impressed with the quality and may buy another as a birthday present for a friend who had a Samoyed when she was a kid.
Meanwhile the faux-Jindo was donated to a sick kid who won't know that the toy was supposed to be an adorable fluffball. At least it only lost its fluff with the shaving, not its adorableness.

My two year old just loves this Samoyed plush. We have two Samoyeds and this toy really looks like a Samoyed. It is so soft and cuddly and sweet looking. If you have a Samoyed or are a fan, you will love this toy.
