I bought this for my nephew who wanted a "REAL Jackson's chameleon". He ended up with an alternative REAL lizard of some kind but he loved that this stuffed animal was the correct version. It is really detailed and to a kid who knows the difference he really appreciated it. Very cute..good quality, excellent colors.

I purchased this chameleon for my first grade classroom, to pair with Ursula Dubosarsky's book "Rex". Each night one student takes Rex home with the book and a journal, and writes about Rex's adventures. This plush chameleon is just the right size to fit into a small bag or backpack, and to stay on the student's desk throughout the day. It seems durable enough for repeated use. We've only been doing this activity for about a month, but so far, he is holding up well.
The kids are very enthusiastic about Rex and are excited to hear about each day's adventures, and can't wait for their turn to take Rex home.
