 Great find for bird loversMar 15, 2010

My granddaughter was pointing out "big blue herons" by the time she was two & this was a perfect Christmas gift. The neck was slightly bent from packing, but the Heron stood up better than I expected. It is a beautiful plush toy for those of us who love beautiful native birds & my granddaughter seems to agree. It was a hit.

This bird looks exactly like it's picture. Very soft and realistic. Wings and head are movable/floppy and has soft hair on body and head. Legs have solid plastic tubes in them, so they are not movable. This bird comes with a little fabric "pad" that it stands on, and doesn't stand well if this pad is removed. Otherwise it's a beautiful bird.

Definitely not what I was expecting. This plush was small and it really doesn't stand up. There are small bases for each foot (not in the picture) that are kept on by elastic bands and it still doesn't stand well, if at all.
