Got this for my girlfriend who adores whale sharks and marine life, as well as plush animals. She adores the thing, It's part of a lead-up to a surprise trip to Atlanta to take her to see Whale Sharks in real life at their aquarium.
Toy is really soft and durable feeling, the tail fin is floppy but it's a plush toy not a teaching aid for marine biologist graduate students.
Very well made, would easily have paid 2x what I did for this.
I recommend it as a gift for anyone who digs sea life, or any kids who like sharks/fish.

My son, who just turned 6, is totally into all creatures that live in the sea. His favorite? Is a whale shark. Imagine my surprise when this was the ONLY thing he asked for from santa this year. Where in the world would I find one????? Amazon came to the rescue, and we were not disappointed! This looks EXACTLY like a whale shark. My son was so happy, he sleeps with it every night, it goes in the car with us on car trips, etc. It is two feet long, so it is very big, but that does not deter him from bringing it everywhere. For $18, it has been the BEST buy.

This was a gift for a loved one's collection of plush sea creatures. It's a generous size and very well made! I was impressed by the detailing in the stitching and the craftmanship overall. I've purchased hundreds of plush items in my lifetime and this is one of the very best items I have ever spent on. Worth every penny!!!

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son. It is soft and plush. He loved it and everyone that has seen it has the same reaction, "SO COOL." Based on quality and size, I felt it was a good value. Highly recommend.
