... make sure you buy 3 of these. Why you ask? Because your darling child will LOVE this toy to death as their first BFF. It is soft and adorable and perfect for sleeping with. And because your darling will turn this lamb into "Clarke" of their Lewis and Clark team this lamb will be DIRTY and disgusting in no time at all. Solution? Wash and rotate with the other two. You will extend the lifespan of the lamb through the years and save yourself the heartache of watching a crying child who sits by the washing machine and dryer waiting for their friend to return. Or worse, the heartache of them not being able to find their friend when you have to do the eventual tossing out of the wretched, smelly, germ-infested rag and must pretend not to know where there friend has gone.
My child is older and still has their lamb on their bed each night. They no longer carry it around everywhere like they used to of course, but it is still a comfort I see them reach for when contemplating the trials of school or some difficult decision. I wish I knew to get more of their brand of lamb when they were little because the one that remains is fragile and I have had to modify with new soft cloth bodies made from stuffed newborn baby onesies. I bought this and called it "lamb body double" and while the real lamb is not cuddled anymore (i believed the grime from the fabric was contributing to the acne on her face) the double takes the affection and has become the comforter.
Get and give this toy but do so in multiples. Trust me on this one.

Our 9 month old baby girl LOVES this lamb. She sleeps with it every night and I've found her in the morning sucking on it's ear or one of it's feet. Its super soft and cuddly. I've bought two of these, just in case.
