good for alligator lover'sFeb 18, 2011

My daughter was obsessed with getting a toy alligator. She said she didn't care if it was big or small. I really thought the toy was going to be bigger. I purposely got Chompers, the bigger of the 2 listed, for his 21 inch size. He is 21 inches if you measure from nose to tip of tail, and that is stretching the tail to a straight position. He measures to about 18 3/4 inches with his tail curled the way it is in the picture. Also, he is only about 4 inches wide, and that is his belly, which is the widest part of him. He is cute, if your in to alligators. My daughter really liked him. I think if I saw it at a store, I wouldn't have paid more than $15.00 for him. When my daughter got him and I told her it was Chompers and not Snappy, the smaller one, she was a little surprised. She thought it would have been bigger, also.
