We bought this toy to replace a beloved panda that my child lost. The biggest concern was finding a panda that looked similar, and on that count, this panda is great. Note: It has a white tail, not a black tail. I appreciate that this panda is made of hypoallergenic and renewable materials. But something you ought to know: It's not true white in color. It's more of a light beige color - similar to the color of soy beans or soy milk. There are some tan fibers in it, too. My major disappointment with this toy is that it doesn't seem to wear very well. We've only had it for about a month or so and after one wash, some of the fabric around the neck seam wore away and created a hole. Stuffing started to come out. A sewing friend of mine repaired it, but I'm worried it won't hold up to a childhood of play. The previous panda we'd had underwent dozens of washings and never got a hole. The unique materials this panda is made with seem to be more fragile, so wash with care. I've washed it a second time and it stood up - I put it on delicate with only a few lightweight items, in cold water, and then I let it air dry for a day before tossing it in the dryer on low with other lightweight items. This panda is about 9 inches sitting down.

I bought this Panda for my girlfriend who has quite an extensive collection of stuffed Pandas. It has now become my favorite of the bunch! While it's not the softest stuffed animal (which is not to say he isn't soft) you can buy it has a very special feeling that it was handed down to me from my Granparents. I highly suggest this adorable little panda.

I bought this as a present for a girl I know because she loves Panda Bears. Unfortunately, I was expecting better. It doesn't look as good as the panda in the picture. The white fur looks dirty yellow. For all I know, it could just be the lighting in the place I live, and if that's the case, then it's no big deal. But it was advertised as being 12". It's only 9". I can only hope it's enough for my girl. I sprung for express shipping so I'd be sure to get it by Valentine's Day, but now, I'm not so sure it was worth it. I paid for one day shipping because I needed it and it still took four days to get to me.
