I have another great puppet by this company, so when I noticed that they had a ferret, I had to order it. It is a little too snug for my large hands, but a nice puppet. The best testimonial for this puppet comes from my eight real ferrets. When I "animated" it for them, they were happy to play with their new friend. Later, when they found it lying on a table without any signs of life, they were very concerned, and ultimately gathered up and dragged it to their bedding litter and gave it a funeral, burying their lost friend. Amazing animals, neat puppet.
As an aside, I wasn't too thrilled with DollsTV, the Amazon seller mine came from, and their repeated nagging for me to review them (bad idea) but that had no bearing on my review of this product.
The only possible concern with this product is the placement and size of the pockets, and that is not going to be a problem for everyone. I would definitely purchase this again. If you are interested in the other puppet I have from Folkmanis, it is this one Bobcat Puppet .

This puppet actually looks like a real ferret. It is very soft and doesn't require food or maintenance of any kind, and isn't illegal to own;making this a great gift for my son who loves ferrets.

My son wanted a real ferret... suffice to say that Mom had other ideas. He has cherished this plush puppet since he got it in the Christmas of 2009. Her name is Rosie). He sleeps with her and takes her everywhere. She recently went to the dentist office. She is VERY well-made. She looks like the day we bought her save some bent whiskers. Her pink nose and white mouth have gotten grungy and we have hand-washed with a soapy cloth. I would definitely buy from this company again.

This is a really good plush. The first picture amazon had up of it didn't really look like the ferret but the picture that's up now looks just like him. He is so soft and cuddly. I have been wanting a ferret for a while and this one's nice. My parents say it's worth the price. I think so too.

Since my father won't get me a REAL ferret, I asked him to get me this one and he obliged.
I absolutely LOVE him. He's soft, cute, cuddly, and very realistic. I noticed that if you toss him in the air, he "wriggles" up and down before he lands. I'm not much of a puppet person, so I stuffed him and my mom sewed him shut so now he's just a plushie. The tag comes with a nice story, and it is somewhat educational.
