I bought this German Shepherd plush toy for my daughter for her
birthday. She loves these dogs and has been asking for a stuffed
toy shepherd for a long time. I have looked online at what seems
to be a hundred different mfgs, and this is by far the cutest one I
found. She just lit up when she saw it, and it is very soft and nice
to cuddle with. It's not too big for her to hug it under her arm
while she sleeps either. It has a really sweet face, it really looks
like a puppy. I Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a
cute German Shepherd stuffed animal.

The dogs were for my girls and they love them. My husband and I are very happy with them. We just put our German Shepherd down so this is helping my little girls cope with the loss of our dog Bear. These dogs resemble Bear so much. So glad I bought these, they are very well made.

This plush might be the most adorable stuffed animal I currently own (and this is quite a feat, as I'm a real plush enthusiast).
I know Douglas is perfectly capable of making exceptionally soft stuffed animals, but for this particular breed of dog they selected relatively coarse fur for his body and very soft fur for his face and legs. If you look at the product photo, you'll see his hair is in two lengths and textures; longish on the body and shorter on the legs and face. This long hair is the coarse stuff, and although isn't quite as soft to the touch, I don't feel it takes anything away from the plush at all, as it's no less huggable for it. If anything, the attention paid to detail by the choice to add that unique texture makes it that much more interesting a stuffed animal.
Overall, this plush is the perfect size, the texture and coloring of the fur is above average quality, it seems quite durable (I've had mine for about a year now with little to no change), and it does accurately resemble a German Shepherd dog.
Should you buy it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
