The item is fantastic and shipping and delivery were quick. This is now my daughter's favorite toy and she sleeps with it every night. This was a great seller to work with as well!

Beautiful horse, nice sizeJan 01, 2008

My six-year-old has hardly put this horse down since she opened it at Christmas. I did have to put some glue, though, on the ends of the bridle, because it was threatening to unravel. It is a beautiful toy, though, and is a nice cuddling size.

I realize that the product description lists product as 22" measured from front hoof to end of tail, but I questioned whether that was when the horse was standing or laying down with legs stretched in front. Well, it is the latter. My kids have the larger IKEA golden retriever stuffed animal listed at 27" and that is a great size (and a 5" inch difference didn't seem that huge). The Douglas website (manufacturer of this product) lists this horse under the "large horses", so I could only assume it would be a decent size. My four year old asked for a large stuffed pony for Christmas (the only thing she asked for from Santa). There is no way she is going to see this as a "large" pony. I searched all over the Internet trying to find photos of this horse with a child to no avail, so I just had to cross my fingers and go with the two glowing reviews (that mentioned nothing of size). The price of nearly $30 is too expensive for a stuffed animal this size. I just bought a stuffed teddy bear from Costco twice this size (and super soft) for $8.99. Seriously, not happy with this purchase! Please see uploaded photo of the horse next to our 27" IKEA stuffed dog (only paid $19.99) and a yardstick. I hope the photo helps others when deciding if this item is right for them.
