I love cats. Multi-colored cats are cute, and this Mama Cat and matching Kitten is a great toy. I never know how to write "helpful reviews" for plush animals, other than to say that if you like what you see in the picture, buy it! It's deceptively large, larger than I would have expected! You don't think "twelve inches," even when you read it on the site, until you actually receive it!

We received this about 6 months ago from the "All Plush Store" through Amazon and we were happy with their service and the shipping cost was reasonable. The cat and kitten have soft fur, but are not as lovable as we would have hoped. A floppier body would have been a better fit for us as well as a loose kitten. The kitten is tightly sewn, and I chose to remove it, but at the cost of splitting the fur and having to mend the hole I created. The kitten (just a few inches long) also had a very pointy nose and could have easily been mistaken for a dog. Our 2 year old, loved our 4 year olds TY cat in a similar size, and we had hoped this would be comparable, but it's a much more "posed" creation. Had we known the kitten was sewn or seen it in person we would not have chosen it for our purpose.

My 9 year old daughter loves the idea of mommy and baby animals. We bought this for her for Christmas and she loves it. Please note that the Mom and kitten are stitched together. It was a question when I was looking at it online and I thought it would have been helpful to know. Very cute - and very soft and cuddly!
