 cute but smallAug 02, 2010
This monkey was much smaller than expected, even after looking at the size, I didn't realize how small it is. The body isn't very big at all even the width of it. I gave it 3 stars because I really thought it looks cuter in the picture than in person. Maybe I'm judging too much on an adult level because my 8 1/2 yr old who loves monkey's does like to sleep with it and bring it overnight when she sleeps over someones house. It does seem very well made but I think all douglas stuffed animals are, my other daughter has quite a few of the douglas dogs, which are so adorable.

We feel misleadSep 04, 2009
We were looking for a monkey for our five year old daughter and came across this add. My daughter lit up and wanted these monkeys so bad. We ordered it and she waited for days for the monkeys to come. This was a reward for her for giving up her treasured monkey to another little girl in need. So when the package came, her face was very sad as there was only one little monkey in the package. Now I understand that the product description says bongo monkey 11" and 6" while sitting but the picture clearly shows a mommy monkey and two babies. We thought that we were getting a mommy and two baby monkeys. So we clearly feel mislead. I called the company and of course got the "in the product description it says 11" monkey, etc." I just feel that they need to show only one monkey in the picture and we do not want any other child feeling the disappointmnet that my daughter has. Just be aware when ordering that this is one little monkey. Thank you.

I was given this monkey as a gag gift a few years ago, and after my baby daughter arrived, I let her play with it... She is now 1 yr. old and it is her FAVORITE toy! She brings it everywhere, sleeps with it, and in the mornings we hear her playing with it, making monkey noises! I plan on getting a 2nd one as a "back-up"! It's very well-made, and so soft and snuggly; no wonder it's her favorite!

My daughter's face lit up like a Christmas Tree when I opened the box and showed her the monkey inside. It's the most adorable little thing. He's very soft, very sweet. He's the same monkey from those ATT commercials where the Dad goes off on a business trip and his daughter has put her toy monkey in his briefcase, and then he takes pictures of the monkey at different sites on his travels.
I fell in love with him in the commercial and all over again after he arrived. He's fabulous and I'm so glad I found him!
