I'm a Pack Rat, too, so I had to have one!Mar 07, 2010

This little fellow is a nicely made puppet with movable hands and mouth. He is fitted for a small adult hand, so he would probably be good for kids, too. I really liked the humor in the idea of a "pack rat", with a backpack on his back, probably ready to hit the antique mall or the craft store! I have been called a pack rat all of my life, and it seemed like I needed a buddy! I may make it a girl rat, and put a ribbon in her ear!
Wonderful ratDec 23, 2011
By Mr. Ken C. Fenske So cute and a good size for a hand to fit in. My kids treat it as real when I'm playing with it with them.
So Cute!Dec 16, 2011
By sherisey I ordered it for my roommate, she LOVES it. She uses it to put on puppet shows for my son and another kid she watches. It is super cute, durable and all around a great puppet!!
pack rat puppet great for elementary students:science, vocabulary, environments, etcNov 20, 2011
By ron r. I use the pack rat puppet in an elementary classroom primarily as students relate more to physical objects than words on paper.Comparing and contrasting for all students with things they can see and identify characteristics is more stimulating and interesting--- even more so with the highest and lowest students who require alternate/additional instruction (eg., differentiated curriculum ).Other puppets, stuffed animals, plastic realistic models of animals, vehicles, etc.excite the students, gain their attention, and get them off the computers world of virtual reality to reality !

I like this rat puppet a lot. I wanted him to stand up, though, so I stuffed the hand opening with a beanie baby. He has a very cute pose now and is able to sit by himself. He also has a goofy (in a good way) facial expression with his mouth wide open. He looks like he is laughing.
