Awesome plush! turned it into NCIS Bert w/ the addition of self inflating whoopee cushion. Best gift of the day!
To do this you have to do some minor surgery. Carefully cut the baby away from Mama. I opened the bottom seam and removed some stuffing. Insert cushion but leave bladder opening sticking out (also makes Bert anatomically correct) Sew up seam to keep stuffing and cushion in,but be careful not to pierce bladder. Squeeze and enjoy! You can add a dog collar from Hot Topic.

This item is excellent, I ordered it on the 12th December and it arrived in the UK on the 17th December which considering it's Christmas is EXCELLENT!!
I bought this becuase apparently it is the same brand of Hippo the people that make NCIS bought for Bert the farting Hippo, but this hippo does NOT make the noise, the sound department add it for the show. So if you want the authentic hippo but not the noise. This is the one!!
And you get the baby as well and they're very cuddly!!!!

I used the mama hippo to make Abby's farting hippo from NCIS (with the addition of a self-filling whoopi cushion and a studded necklace). The quality of the stitching and delicateness of the stuffing allowed me to remove the baby and excavate a cavity for the whoopi cushion with ease and without fear of the thing falling apart. It now looks like the official farting hippo and is lots of fun!

I bought this beccause I thought that it was the hippo that was on NCIS that you could put a self inflating whoppie cushion to make it fart... but alas there was not way to put the whoppie cushion in... I was quite disappointed as it was a Christmas present... (i also bought the whoppie cushion)... but as far as stuffed hippos go... It was quite realistic..
