I bought this stuffed pup for our daughter who's away at college as a replica of our Bichon pup. She was thrilled to get him. She says he looks very lifelike and is "squishable" for lots of hugs. She considers him her good luck charm for exams and other tense activities while away from home.

I was looking for a toy that would be close to the size of a real bichon frise to use for demos. This one is NOT even close to the size expected. The only way I could come up with 12" is from tip of head to tip of tail. It is only 5 inches at the withers and 8" to the top of the head. The nose and eyes are a hard material so do not let pets play with this. They could choke.
