I purchased this little lamb as a Christmas gift for my niece (to go along with the story book "The Crippled Lamb"). I wanted a plush lamb that was soft and cuddly, yet very realistic in appearance. This plush delivers on both counts. It is absolutely beautiful, and has the softest fur (like angora/mohair!). Well crafted and with the perfect facial expression--I love the attention to detail that went into this piece. This toy will definitely NOT be 'just another plush'... it is special.

Although this is still a cute animal, there are several things about the advertising that are misleading. First, it is not 12", it is only 10" in length. Second, the actual lamb's face is totally different than the picture on the website. The picture is cuter than the lamb they send you while the acutal lamb's face is faker. I'm surprised that nobody commented on these two points.

This sweet little lamb is huggably soft and good at standing up also. I created a manger scene for my granddaughter as a Christmas present last year with some little animals looking into a cradle lined with hay and holding a baby doll. This lamb was my favorite (and hers). It's a good size for little hands and has proved its durability and staying power over the last year.

I bought this for my daughter for her first Easter, at 6 months old. At that time it was a wonderful prop to use for Easter photos, it is so cute. Now at 15 months old, this is my Daughter's favorite toy (and she has many very nice toys). This is her "Baaa Baaa" and she carries it with her and gives it kisses. This little lamb is very charming and well made, especially for today's standards. I am extremely picky when it comes to toys, and I do like this one. For the price you cant go wrong.

What can I say? My granddaughter hugged this little sheep the moment she unwrapped her birthday present and hasn't let go since! The lamb's fleece is so soft and cuddly, construction seems sturdy, and so far has withstood being dragged around everywhere. We haven't washed it yet, so that will be a telling moment. Overall, a great pleaser!
