Raccoon toys seem to abound, but none captures the realistic look as well as this Hansa model. Even the coat, which on a real raccoon is a brownish-gray, is more faithfully duplicated than I expected. Because it was bought for display and education, I can't assess its durability under extended play, but it seems to be very well made. If realism is more important than cuddly, this is the one to buy!
