As the best substitution for an actual red panda cub, this plush is quite adorable. He's very soft, especially his tail, and his eyes seem to say "hold me!" His colors are beautiful, except the orange in his tail is a tad bit bright (but maybe that's how real red panda tails are?). The "fur" on his body has a nice, silky texture. Great for snuggling, although his small size is best suited for adorning your work/play space. His presence on my desk is quite distracting, I must say, with those piercing puppy dog eyes...

"just visiting"
This red panda is pretty adorable and made well enough. All I have to do is keep my dog away from it.
The color is not quite as pictured: the tail is correct but the body and head are brown and a sandy beige without any hint of rusty red. The hair tuffs around the ears and the whiskers are nice touches though. And I like the way it sits.
Do remind your little ones that this is an endangered creature.
