My sister-in-law purchased this for my son's 6th birthday. He absolutely loves it! The head and the body are detached, but are magnetic so you can put them back together. My son loves to snuggle w/the head though and carry the "treasure chest" body around w/him. It's a funny stuffed animal but now my 9 year old daughter is begging for one b/c it's so cute. There is a box that comes out of the front of the dog's chest, two side pockets and two pockets in the ears so store all sorts of little treasures.

Believe it or not, I bought two of these and neither was for a child. The one was for our Aunt, who lives with us, as she tends to have heaps of this and that around her at all times on "her couch." I thought some order could be brought to her area by using this precious dog. The other was for my "perpetual fiance," who always just leaves the remotes on the bed causing them to get mixed up in the bedding, etc. Well, now one remote goes in one side pocket and the other one goes in the other side pocket. I was a bit concerned that the head might not really "stick" to the body with just a built-in magnet but, my fears were unfounded as it works perfectly fine. There is a little drawer behind said head and one need not remove the dog's head to use it, which is a nice touch. The actual dog is exceptionally soft and plush. The head removal makes for a great pillow as well. Both of these folks, one in his late 40s and the other in her early 60s, loved these. So, I recommend these for people of all ages. The dog looks a heck of a lot better resting on the back of the couch than the usual garbage that surrounds my aunt, lol. I hope this review helps and thanks for reading it.
